In an era where healthcare faces unprecedented challenges, the deployment of transformative digital health solutions presents immense opportunities. Yet, on this journey towards digitally-enabled integrative and value-driven transformation, how do we overcome potential barriers, from fostering adoption to ensuring inclusive and equitable scaling up of solutions? Join this i~HD / ADLIFE conference and discover how to leverage digital innovations to create resilient and efficient health systems and how to improve quality of life in the management of long-term conditions.

i-HD and ADLIFE are partnering to organise this multi-stakeholder conference.

The EU-funded ADLIFE project will, by the end of November 2024, have concluded by demonstrating how its innovative digital toolbox can help provide personalised, integrated, and outcome-based care targeting the empowerment and quality of life of elderly patients with advanced chronic diseases.

ADLIFE consortium partner and multi-stakeholder organisation i~HD champions better use of health data and catalyses change and innovation in healthcare by connecting all health players to share expertise and co-create solutions.

By inviting several other European digital health innovation projects, participants in this conference will benefit from a rich input integrating the perspectives of a broad range of speakers.

Ongi etorriak Bilbora!
¡Bienvenidos a Bilbao!
Welcome to Bilbao!

Bilbao will be the host city of our final plenary meeting! Home to BIOSISTEMAK, the coordinating partner of the ADLIFE consortium, this dynamic city is located in the heart of Spain's Basque Country, where every corner tells a story of history, culture, gastronomy and innovation.

Also known as the "City of the Guggenheim", in reference to the iconic museum designed by Frank Gehry, the city combines the charming streets of the old town with the avant-garde and the modern. Art lovers will discover a vibrant arts scene, from cutting-edge contemporary galleries to traditional Basque performances that capture the essence of local culture.

Gastronomy is one of the arts of the city and its region, the Basque Country. Bilbao's renowned gastronomic scene immerses gourmets in fresh seafood delicacies and the rich flavours of local produce. From quaint pintxos bars serving bite-sized culinary delights to Michelin-starred restaurants, there's something for every palate.

As well as the cultural and culinary treasures waiting to be discovered, visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of the city with a stroll along the banks of the Nervión River to the famous suspended Bizkaia Bridge, arriving at the wonderful beaches or venture into the lush greenery of the nearby mountains.

We hope you enjoy this wonderful city and its surroundings!
