ACCOMMODATION

The Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) is located in the city of Barakaldo, very close to Bilbao. Since there is a good connection between both cities by underground, one option would be to stay in Bilbao, as it has a wider array of services.

Check out a variety of 3- and 4-star hotel options in the centre of Bilbao using the filter on the left.

We’re also suggesting a hotel in Barakaldo right next to the conference venue (BEC), but far away from the centre of Bilbao.

HOW TO GET TO BEC

BEC is well-connected through different means of transport such as:

Underground: Ansio stop in line Nº 2.

Taxi: it takes around 10 - 15 minutes from Bilbao city center and it costs around 15€.

Bus from Bilbao: Line 3136 Bizkaibus (Bilbao-Cruces-Barakaldo).

It takes you to most tourist attractions and connects the city to Gran Bilbao on both the right and the left banks of the estuary. Bilbobus (city) and Bizkaibus (intercity) buses provide useful connections too, while the Euskotren rail lines take you to visit the region and the province of Gipuzkoa too.
