The Kronikgune Institute for Health Services Research, devoted to the development of International Research Projects, is looking out for a: Professional in Health Information Technology for research in health services field.

Deadline for submission of applications: 20 November 2022.

Role duties:

  • Participate in the process of defining digital solutions according to project requirements within different research groups.

  • Coordinate the necessary activities between health systems and technical teams for demand management and planning during the implementation process.

  • Technical presentation of solutions supporting the coordination team of digital interventions.

  • Technical liaison with health systems and technical areas during requirements gathering, solution definition and associated service scope.

  • Support the coordination of the process of integration and deployment of digital solutions in healthcare environments.

  • Elaborate reports, disseminate results and support the project's communication actions.

Required qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Management and Information Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

  • Experience of more than one year in areas of interoperability in the health environment and/or coordination, and management of digital interventions in research or innovation in the health sector.

  • High and demonstrable level of Spanish and English (spoken and written). C1 Level or equivalent.

Would be an asset:

  • Experience in the development of research projects, consultancy and organisational services, especially in the areas of health, digitalization and ICT.

  • Knowledge of data mining and personal data protection applied to the health sector.

  • Experience in Cloud architecture for the development of ICT platforms.

  • Experience with health data exchange standards (CDA, HL7 FHIR) and CD/CI development of information systems based on microservices and Event-Driven designs in REST API environments.

  • Postgraduate training in Data Science, public health, research methodology, or similar.

  • Knowledge of Basque
