Event: ADLIFE Kickoff, Åre

Göran Larsson (head of Research & Learning) and the rest of the team at RJH who represented ADLIFE at the kickoff in October.

Region Jämtland Härjedalen Project Centre initiated a gathering of regional partners for a workshop in October 8–9, 2020 in the renowned ski resort Åre, Sweden.

The topic was “knowledge management”, with the purpose to strengthen collaboration and networking between partners and projects. The project in reference was Regional Resource Centre (RRC), a project based in Region Jämtland Härjedalen’s R&D / Project Centre.

Regional Resource Centre’s assignment is to develop interest, engagement and competence among enterprises, academia and public sector in order to enhance the regional participation in the Horizon programme. Anders and Sara, who lead the project, are active in developing networks and relations in both our own county but also in the whole of northern Sweden.

The basis for this work is the six Horizon 2020 projects that the Project Centre is involved in. By these, we can contribute with our experiences and results to others.

The ADLIFE project was one of the Horizon projects presented and discussed among the workshop participants – an interesting project as many can see the benefits and possibilities of the ADLIFE tool. One development that was highlighted within the project was its aim to create a work model that brings about, coordinates and provides a comprehensive solution regarding Integrated personalised care for patients with advanced chronic diseases to improve health and quality of life.

Personalised care is highly prioritized in Sweden, which makes ADLIFE solutions both interesting and well timed. The participants are looking forward to more updates in the future!
