Yamit is Head of the Applications Department in the ICT Division of Assuta Ashdod Hospital, Israel. Yamit received her BA in Business Administration and Information Systems from the College of Management in Rishon Lezion, Israel.  Prior to her current position in Assuta Ashdod hospital for the past four years, she worked in Clinical information technology systems in major Israeli medical institutions - including Clallit Healthcare, Israel’s largest Health Fund, covering over 50% of the population with hundreds of clinics nationwide and 8 hospitals.  Yamit also covered the Assuta Medical Centers Network, Israel’s largest and leading private hospital network.

Key areas of expertise include systems analysis and computerization of key clinical processes, models for medication dispensing, and models for computerizing emergency rooms in all of the ER subspecialties.
