Work Package 1: Co-ordination & Management

Work Package 1, Coordination and Management is focused to manage and coordinate adequately the project at European level. Likewise, it is the responsible that the objectives defined in the project are met. Moreover, it makes the quality level controls of all project’s products developed within the framework of the project such as reports or papers.  

 

Objetives:  

  • To provide overall technical and scientific direction and to drive the progress of the project, for the achievement of milestones and ensuring that the work is undertaken with appropriate quality levels.  

  • To elaborate a project management handbook defining the rules of financial-admin management as well as the common general procedures for deliverables and related reports of the project.  

  • To perform exhaustive progress monitoring to avoid deviations and facilitate the execution of the project.  

  • To ensure that the project is not hampered by ethical problems and respects all relevant international and national regulations in this regard.  

  • To comply with the HORIZON 2020 rules in terms of financial and administrative issues.  

 

Activities defined in this WP:  

  • T1.1: Consortium operating procedures definition & quality assurance: to elaborate a project management handbook that will include guidelines for financial reporting, presentation standards for deliverables and reports to the EC, measures to ensure timely reporting, payment procedures plan and calendar, etc. This guideline will also contain the internal communication procedures with the aim of achieving the best results on the project execution. 

  • T1.2: Project coordination and day-to-day management:  coordinate and manage administrative matters and give administrative support to all partners for preparing administrative reports to the EC, ensuring financial management, the compilation of project deliverables, the periodic reporting and communication with EC services and Project Officers for purposes of coordination, progress monitoring and reporting. 

 

  • T1.3: Consortium meetings: Coordinate the meetings and teleconferences organized in the project, such as Kick-off meetings, consortium meetings, dissemination and exploitation meeting, review meeting and technical meetings.  

 

  • T 1.4 Ethical surveillance: Provide ethical oversight, analysis, and guidance on all aspects of the ADLIFE project related to the patient recruitment, informed consent, withdrawal from study, collection and analysis of data. 

 

  • T1.5 Data Management:  Describe ADLIFE data protection framework regarding data access, protection and sharing.  

 

  • T1.6. Legal Management: Deal with all contractual and other legal issues related to the project, focus on partnership management and formalisation of updates of the work plan, roles and resources assignments as needed.
