Dr Sarah N. Lim Choi Keung  

Senior Research Fellow in Health Informatics

 

Sarah is Senior Research Fellow in Health Informatics at the Institute of Digital Healthcare (IDH), Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG).

Sarah holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and has worked for a number of  years in the digital health and health data science areas. Sarah’s research is in the areas of health informatics, with expertise in semantic interoperability in the health domain, the participatory requirements gathering process for stakeholders in clinical information systems, and the standardisation in health informatics. She has experience of assessing technological solutions and considering requirements and needs of a range of stakeholders, in clinical, research and the public. 

Sarah’s interests lie in the development, testing and evaluation of tools and solutions for supporting healthcare stakeholders  and the effective use and reuse of healthcare data. 

Sarah is the Project Manager in the Coordinating Team for the EU C3-Cloud project, developing an ICT infrastructure for integrated care management of elderly, co-morbid patients.  Sarah is also interested in ethical matters and is currently a member of the University of Warwick’s Biomedical & Scientific Research Ethics Committee, advising on research integrity, ethics and research data management.   

In ADLIFE, Sarah leads Work Package 3 to gather requirements, develop, customise and integrate the digital tools in the ADLIFE solution. She is also actively involved in work packages 4, 5, 6, 9 and 11.
