Mustafa Yüksel

Principal Solutions Architect

 

Mustafa has received his BSc, MSc, PhD from the Computer Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University. His research areas include eHealth, eBusiness, Interoperability, Big Data Analytics, Semantic Web, Interoperability Testing and Service Oriented Architectures. He has participated in many EC supported projects including C3-Cloud, SALUS, WEB-RADR, epSOS, PALANTE, iCARDEA, iSURF, SAPHIRE and RIDE H2020/FP7/FP6 projects.

Currently he leads the development of the Personalised Care Plan Management Platform and the overall software integration in the C3-Cloud project. In epSOS, he has developed the first and only open source implementation of the epSOS specifications for cross-border data exchange. He has provided consultancy services on the management of National Health Information System to the Ministry of Health, Turkey; as well as to Hospital Information System vendors for their standards-based implementation and testing activities. He finalized his MSc thesis entitled “Sharing Electronic Healthcare Records Across Country Borders” in 2008, and PhD thesis entitled “A Semantic Interoperability Framework for Reinforcing Post Market Safety Studies” in 2013.

Mustafa will lead tasks 3.2 and 3.4 in WP3 and will be strongly involved in WP4 and WP5 activities.
