Robert Vander Stichele is a retired family physician and clinical pharmacologist, at Ghent University in Belgium.  His eclectic research interests are in drug utilisation research, pharmaco-epidemiology, End-of-Life care, patient compliance, prescribing quality indicators, and in medical informatics. His publication list comprises more than 200 scientific papers (refereed in Medline and Web of Science).
