ADLIFE Q&A

Thea Syse

Project Manager

What’s your background and your current role?

My name is Thea Syse. I am 31 years old and I live in Odense, Denmark which I share with my partner, son and dog. I have an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Organization.
Since 2015, I have worked as a project manager with international projects in the healthcare sector, where my role has mainly been to coordinate and support local activities - which is also my role in the ADLIFE project.

Why did you want to be involved in the ADLIFE project?

At OUH we work towards putting the patient first in all our activities. The ADLIFE project aims to increase the quality of life for patients in their last time through integrated care and telemedicine. By implementing digital tools and interventions the care pathway is improved and personalised to the individual citizen.

What your role in ADLIFE involve?

My role involves the coordination and support of the management of WP7, the OUH pilot site activities, and any other input needed for the other WP’s in ADLIFE.

What most excites you about working on ADLIFE and with the Consortium?

It is fun to work with an international consortium that holds such a different amount of experience, talents, and competencies at such a high quality and to see all these work together to create what will in the end be better treatment for patients and citizens.

Finally, tell us something about you that people may not know.......?

I am a firm knitter! Last year I knitted all the Christmas presents to my family, and that definitely not happen again ;-)
