ADLIFE Q&A

Rikke Lyngholm Christensen

Programme Manager

What’s your background and your current role?

My name is Rikke Lyngholm Christensen and I am the programme manager at the Centre for Innovative Medical Technology (CIMT) at Odense University Hospital (OUH). With over 10 years of experience in healthcare innovation, I have built up considerable expertise in project management, coordination of EU projects, and strategic innovation.

Why did you want to be involved in the ADLIFE project?

At OUH we work with the ambition of putting the patients first in our activities and at CIMT we only focus on projects and initiatives with clinical anchorage and support. The ADLIFE projects meets these criteria with focusing on the patient and their care pathway as well as learning more about how digital tool affect the care pathway as well as the clinical workflow and competences.

What most excites you about working on ADLIFE and with the Consortium?

Getting perspectives on telemedicine from different organizations, countries and people within the field of healthcare. And learning about how we view the need for digital tools, organizational changes and competency development for both HCP’s and patients.

Finally, tell us something about you that people may not know.

I love being offline in my spare time. I live in a small country home where I breed sheep, spin the wool and knit garments with it. Where traditional and hand-held processes in contrast to my work life.
