Germany
The clinical site in which ADLIFE will be piloted in Germany is called Clinic Werra Meißner (CWM).
Clinic Werra Meißner (CWM)
The county ‘Werra-Meißner-Kreis’ (WMK) is situated right in the middle of Germany in the north of Hesse. Clinic Werra Meißner (CWM) is a municipally owned hospital of the county Werra-Meißner-Kreis. The CWM consists of two separate hospitals in the county, in the capital Eschwege in the south (with a population of 20,000 ) and in the town of Witzenhausen in the north (with a population of 15,000). The CWM is a key partner at providing regional health care and is servicing most of the population.
Through taking the ADLIFE ICT tools and creating a local managed care solution with its network members, GPs and community hospitals, the aim is to create a new managed care service that will attract more health insurances as customers, thus make the network grow and therefore increase network coverage that can result in higher local geographical presence. With this new network, it is hoped that people will grow an understanding of their problems and share responsibility for managing them. Ultimately through a regionally focused digital care portal providing personally relevant (nationwide) information, local counselling or local support care services people will reach their health goals.
