Aratz Setien Gutierrez

Lead Engineer

Aratz is an engineer specializing in computer vision, data analytics and medical applications. He speaks Basque and Spanish as mother languages and English fluently. With more than 11 years of experience in the ICT sector, he has been involved in diverse projects as R&D Engineer, including international (ICT FP7 - Collaborative Project: Embedded Computer Engineering Learning Platform E2LP), regional (VIRUSES - Visually Immersive Researching Unit for Scientific and Educational Scenarios. Patent ES2649789A1) or private funded (eVida©Knee), with diverse publications on the work carried out. Focusing his activity in the research and health sector in the last years, he is specialized in Computer Vision and Machine/Deep Learning technologies with strong knowledge of the ultimate trends and technologies in this area. Team Leader in everis since 2019, he has been involved in different projects in the Data Analytics department with clients from different sectors (Health, Insurance sector, industry…), developing big data and advance analytics solutions for each of them. He will lead the everis team that will be involved in all the tasks planned in the work package 5 related with the Clinical Decision support services and the predictive tools. 

In ADLIFE, he is the lead engineer of the Everis team in the ADLIFE project and will be involved in all the tasks planned in the work package 5 related with the Clinical Decision support services and the predictive tools.
