Dr. Michal Yeshayahu

Medical Director, Integrated Care Unit

Michal is the medical director of Maccabi's Integrated Care Unit at the Assuta Ashdod University hospital, which is responsible for the continuity of care for complex patients discharged back to the community. Michal is also the director of clinical teaching and faculty development at the Maccabi Health Services Faculty of Family Medicine. She graduated from Ben Gurion University Medical School in Israel in 2001, followed by a residency in Family medicine, at Maccabi Health Services in Jerusalem. After her residency, she completed an academic fellowship in medical education at the University of Toronto. She is also a practicing family physician, teaching students and residents. Her main fields of interest are clinical teaching, inter-professional education, collaboration and integrated care.

Dr. Yeshayahu is a member of the Clinical Reference Group for ADLIFE.
