Claus Duedal Pedersen possesses over 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies within the healthcare sector. His journey spans from pioneering the introduction of Denmark's first EMR system in 1996 to leading national standards for healthcare communication and the establishment of Denmark's healthcare IT infrastructure. His contributions also extend to orchestrating the transformation of a University Hospital, resulting in a streamlined facility with significantly reduced bed capacity.

In 2012, Claus spearheaded the creation of the Center for Innovative Medical Technologies, a collaborative innovation and research hub shared between OUH and the University of Southern Denmark. This center, known as CIMT, has been instrumental in fostering partnerships between healthcare organizations and industries, fostering the introduction of novel products and services to the market.

Claus Duedal Pedersen took charge of conceptualizing and executing OUH's Robot and Drone strategy as part of the hospital's evolution towards its 2022 inauguration. Notably, he led the formation of the Danish Centre for Clinical AI - CAI-X in 2019.

Currently serving as the Director of the Sentinel Unit, Claus Duedal Pedersen is driving the development and implementation of a national research and quality infrastructure tailored for Denmark's primary care sector.

In 2022, Claus was appointed CEO of the Sundhed.dk International Foundation, which is committed to supporting Danish companies by harnessing the wealth of knowledge generated within the public sector of Denmark. The foundation's core mission is to foster public-private collaborations for the advancement of healthcare and business development.
