ADLIFE at the 22nd International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC22), Denmark, 23-25th May 2022

International delegates attended the 22nd International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC22) in Odense, Denmark 23rd – 25th May 2022. The hybrid conference provided a welcome opportunity for friends, colleagues and partners - old and new - to share their learning, insights, reflections and identify future opportunities on novel integrated healthcare services research and service design initiatives.

ADLIFE Partners from Kronikgune and Odense University Hospital welcomed opportunities to present ADLIFE related work in three different sessions over the 3 days.

On Day 1 of the Conference, ADLIFE Chief Investigator Dr Esteban Manuel Keenoy delivered a Keynote Speech on Integrated Care in Europe: Lessons Learned from EU funded research projects.

Also on Day 1, in the Frameworks to Support Integrated Care Implementation Session, Ana Ortega Gil, Digital Health Researcher from Kronikgune presented on the importance of understanding health outcomes that matter most to people.

In the Goal-orientated Care and Shared Decision- Making session on Day 2, Associate Professor Anne Dichmann Sorknæs from our partner Odense University Hospital presented literature review the team lead to develop the SDM components within ADLIFE.

With this being the first in-person event for many for over two years, the conference also provided a very welcome opportunity for various members of the ADLIFE Consortium to actually meet face-face and spend some time together for the first time since the ADLIFE Kick-Off Meeting in Bilbao in January 2020.
